Terms &
Conditions

These terms govern your use of this site and the conditions under which I accept and complete tattoo work. By submitting an inquiry, you agree to them.

  1. 01

    The site

This site is a portfolio and an inquiry form. Submitting the form does not book a session, hold a date, or create any obligation on my part. Inquiries reach me by email and I answer them myself.

An appointment exists only once I have confirmed it in writing.

  2. 02

    Work I accept

Each piece is drawn for the person who will wear it. I may modify a proposed idea so that it works on the body, and the final drawing remains my artistic decision.

I do not perform cover-ups, and I do not rework designs made by other artists.

I do not reproduce another artist’s work. Reference material is accepted as direction only.

I may decline any project without stating a reason.

  3. 03

    Age

I tattoo persons eighteen years of age and older. Government-issued photo identification is required, and no form of parental consent creates an exception.

Texas law permits a single exception, limited to covering an existing offensive tattoo. Because I do not perform cover-ups, that exception does not apply to my work.

Misrepresenting your age terminates the appointment, and the deposit is forfeited.

  4. 04

    Deposits and scheduling

A deposit is required to hold a date and is applied to the final price of the piece.

The deposit covers design time and a reserved slot that cannot be offered to anyone else. It is non-refundable.

At the time of scheduling I provide, in writing, the deposit amount, the notice required to reschedule, and the consequence of a late change. Those figures govern.

If I cancel or reschedule an appointment, the deposit is applied to the new date or returned to you, at your election.

  5. 05

    The session

Arrive rested, having eaten, and hydrated. I do not tattoo anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Disclose any medical condition, allergy, medication, pregnancy, or use of blood thinners before the session begins. Withholding this information places your health and the result at risk.

The final price reflects size, placement, and the time the work requires. If a session runs long, or if a second session becomes necessary, I will tell you before work begins.

  6. 06

    Healing and touch-ups

A tattoo is a wound, and how it heals depends largely on your aftercare. Follow the instructions I provide.

A tattoo settles differently on different skin and changes over time. An exact match to the reference cannot be guaranteed.

Where healing has been normal, touch-ups are assessed case by case. Damage caused by sun exposure, swimming, picking at the area, or failure to follow aftercare is charged as new work.

  7. 07

    Images and rights

The drawing is my original work and all rights in it remain with me. You receive the tattoo. You do not receive a license to reproduce or sell the drawing.

I photograph completed work for my portfolio and for social media. Notify me before the session if you prefer not to appear, and you will not be photographed.

The inquiry form requests reference images and a photograph of the skin the piece will occupy, so that I can assess it before drawing. Submit only images you have the right to share. They are used to design your piece and for no other purpose.

  8. 08

    Health and liability

I use sterile, single-use needles and follow the health requirements Texas applies to tattooing. Tattooing nevertheless carries the risks inherent to any procedure performed on skin, and you accept those risks when you proceed.

To the extent permitted by law, my liability is limited to the amount paid for the work. Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice.

  9. 09

    Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.

Questions about these terms can be sent through the inquiry form.
