This policy explains what happens to your information when you browse this site and when you send me an inquiry.

What this site collects
Page views, counted by Vercel, which hosts this site. The count records the page, the country it was opened from and the site you arrived from. It sets no cookie, it does not identify you, and it carries nothing from one visit to the next.
There is no advertising, no tracking across other sites, and no profile of you anywhere.
Typefaces are served from this site rather than from a third party, so reading these pages does not report your visit to anyone else.

What stays in your browser
Two things, and both stay on your own device. The pieces you mark with the flower are kept in your browser so they are still there when you reach the form, and clearing them clears them for good. The site also remembers, for as long as the tab is open, that you have already come through the gate, so it does not play the opening again.
Neither is sent anywhere, and neither is readable by anyone but you. Marked pieces leave your device only if you send the form, and only because they are attached to the inquiry you are sending me.

The inquiry form
Submitting the form sends what you entered, and the images you attached, to this site, which forwards them to me by email and keeps no copy of its own.
The email is delivered by Resend, a third-party sending service, which handles the message in transit. Nothing is uploaded before you press send, and closing the page without pressing it sends nothing.
Your email address is set as the reply address on that message, so answering you does not require me to copy it anywhere.

What I hold
Once you send the form, I hold what you wrote and what you attached: your name, your email address, the city you selected, your description of the piece, its placement and size, your reference images, and the photograph of the skin the piece will occupy.
That material sits in my email account. I use it to answer you, to design your piece, and to run the appointment. I use it for nothing else.
I do not sell it, rent it, or disclose it to anyone.

Photographs of your skin
I ask for a photograph of the area because I have to see the area before I design anything. It is the most personal thing this site asks of you and it is treated that way.
It is never published, never used as a reference image for anyone else, and never shown outside the work of designing your piece.

Photographs of finished work
Photographs I take of completed work appear in my portfolio and on social media, as described in the terms. They are not captioned with your name.
Notify me before the session if you prefer not to appear, and you will not be photographed.

Sending
Two services handle what you send. Resend receives the inquiry and the attached images because it is what delivers them, and it holds them only as long as delivering an email takes.
A copy of each inquiry, and the images attached to it, is also stored with Supabase, which hosts this site's database. It is private: no one can open it but me, from the site's own admin.
Neither is given anything else about you, and nothing on this site reports your visit to either of them.

Maps
The maps in the Guest Spots section are images stored on this site. Viewing them contacts no map service and sends your address to no one.
No third party receives anything from your visit.

Hosting
This site is served by a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses and the pages requested. Those logs exist for the provider's own security and operations, and I do not use them to identify visitors.

How long I keep it
I keep an inquiry and the images attached to it, both in my inbox and in the site's private records, for as long as it takes to answer you and complete the work, and afterward as a record of what was made and what people ask me for.
Write to me and I will delete your inquiry and the images with it. Photographs already published are removed from my own accounts on request, though copies other people have already saved are outside my control.

Minors
I do not tattoo persons under eighteen and I do not knowingly hold information about them. If you believe a minor has sent me information, write to me and I will delete it.
